2008，他毕业于格兰高中，就读北卡罗来纳州的伊隆大学，并参与了BFA音乐剧院长达两年的演出。后来他离开学校，在巡回重映的百老汇《西区故事》中接手童年约翰一角，并在2010年9月30日开始直到2011年9月23日的时间里，一直参与巡演工作 。
